Introduction to Songwriting

Junior Songwriting Workshop

Calling junior creative talents! Does your creative imagination urge you to put your feelings into words, but somehow you feel stuck. Do you often find yourself humming your own tunes and writing lyrics to them. If that is your case, and you want to find the right tools, then join us to our hands-on songwriting workshop, where you can unleash your creativity as we help you find your voice.

Ages 8-12 years

This Workshop will add on to the content of the previous courses and will continue to cover :
Song Structure
Efficient practices in identifying and writing each part of a song
Different types of rhymes and schemes
An opportunity to work on existing songs projects
Finding inspiration to help in the process of writing and creating a song title
Providing a deeper understanding of melodic writing and chord progression

Musical Theater Camp

Step Into Broadway

It’s showtime at Musika Studio! Embrace your passion for musicals and prepare for your theatrical entrance as you join us for a 2-session workshop this summer to take to your musical performance to the next level.

This awesome opportunity will allow students to work in small ensembles on musical theaters numbers from Annie, Beauty and Beast, Shrek, Little Mermaid and more. In addition, they will be working on choreography and acting with a professional dance instructor!

Introduction to Jass & Pop

Jazz & Pop Piano Workshop

Students who are interested in learning the basic techniques of Piano for Jazz and Pop are invited to join us at Musika Studio to a fun introductory learning experience.

Our Jazz & Piano instructor, Mr. Mark Herrera, will lead the students through a hands-on workshop to help them learn the basics of chords, different way of accompaniment and playing or singing along to the melody.
