Allie Schraeder
Allie Schraeder, has cultivated an extensive musical theater background that began at age 5 and includes being a member of Fullerton Children’s Repertory Theater from 4th to 8th grades. Allie has taken 12 years of piano lessons, began writing songs in 5th grade, and started private vocal coaching a few years later. At church, she sang in choirs and led worship as early as junior high school. While at Troy High School, Allie was an active member of the theater and choir departments, performing in plays, improv shows, musicals, and festivals across the state as well as the audition-only Candlelight Ceremony at Disneyland. A former national merit finalist, she well understands the demands of balancing a robust arts education with her studies and other responsibilities.
Allie attended Wheaton College where she majored in Music with Elective Studies in Theatre and studied classical voice. In addition she has studies Jazz music and was a member of many choirs and ensembles. Her favorite college roles were Lucy in Arena Theater’s spring 2019 production of You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and Margaret Johnson in Opera Music Theater’s January 2020 show, Light in the Piazza. She also won Wheaton’s 2018 Talent show with an original comedic song, Our Saga. The following year, Allie co-hosted the Talent Show and included more musical jokes for their audience of 2,000.
Allie has worked as an improv pianist at a Chicagoland comedy club and as a worship leader and soloist at several nearby churches. She has taught piano and voice lessons on and off since 2017 and served as the assistant musical director/vocal coach for Arena Theater’s spring 2021 show Ordinary Days. Since moving back to CA, she’s taught private voice and piano lessons at Musika Studio.
