Kirsten Leon

Kirsten Leon, soprano, is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance.
She emerges from the vibrant arts scene of Las Vegas, Nevada, where her passion for music and performance first took root at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. Known for her versatile voice, Kirsten possesses a captivating tone that allows her to sing several genres with ease, including opera, jazz, musical theater and pop. Throughout her undergraduate journey, she sang under the direction of Eliza Rubenstein at Orange Coast College in the Chamber Singers, and Dr. Robert Istad at Cal State Fullerton with the critically acclaimed University Singers.
Kirsten’s most memorable performances include Nella in Michael Ching’s Buoso’s Ghost, Rose Murrant in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene, and Marcellina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro. Not confined to operatic roles, Kirsten has showcased her versatility as a soloist, lending her voice to Tarik O’Regan’s world premiere work, No One Can Hear Themselves Staying. A dedicated performer, Kirsten sings with the Orange County Women’s Chorus and the Grammy winning Pacific Chorale. She carries her joy for music and the arts over into her role as a Guest Talent Coordinator with Disney Imagination Campus, and adores spending cuddle time with her dog, Sushi.
