Shania Carden

Shania Carden

Shania has her BA in Music Education from CSU, Fullerton and her MM in Vocal Performance from CSU, Long Beach. She has studied classical voice for ten years and has been teaching private music lessons for six years. She has performed at the Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall and even traveled internationally to perform in opera productions and choral tours. Her early passion for music was sparked by artists like Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles, and Adele. (And she enjoys both classical and pop music to this day!)

Shania is passionate about empowering her students both as individuals and musicians. For voice students, she seeks to instill healthy singing habits. Shania believes that teaching voice is not a one-size-fits-all approach and varies her approach based on the genre the student is interested in. She holds the same tenants in teaching piano and ukulele. Shania strives to provide students with a supportive space while also challenging them compassionately! She believes that her role as a teacher is to guide students to discover their limitless ability and to give them tools for musical independence.
